Importance of the Rudraksha: The greatness of Rudrakshas has been explained in all the Puranas of the Hindu Religion, such as Devi Purana, Padam Purana, Ling Purana, Shiv Purana, Sikand Purana,  etc.

  • Holy Rudrakshs are of 38 kinds. Those generally have, from 1 to 21 faces but over 14 faces, unusually are available in India.
  • Faces are simple lines located over the body of the Rudraksha. All Rudraksha has a particular purpose.
  • This Rudraksha rosary is very promising and brings man near to God. The uses of Rudraksha rosary signifies Lord SHIVA and gives all his blessings upon the wearer. It has a marvelous influence on our body, mind, and soul.

The story about the creation of the Rudraksha

Once there was a Datiya called Tripura Sur, who was unconquerable. Brahma, Vishnu, and other gods were tired of him as he was teasing them. They requested Lord Shiva to assist them and get rid of him. LORD SHIVA used a special fire-weapon named Aaghor to destroy Tripura Sur. While to the use of this weapon, Lord Shiva could not open his eyes, and when opened, the eyes became wet, and some drops of water fell on earth. These drops appeared in the form of trees, and the fruits of 38 kinds appeared, which are described Rudrakshas. Lord Shiva is associated as Rudra, and tears exclaimed Ashak. Hence the name Rudrakshas.

How to purify the Rudraksha Rosary

On Monday morning, take a bath before Sunrise, and keep the beads in the oil for four to seven days. After that, wash it in Cow's milk or holy Ganges water ( Ganga Jal). While reciting the mantra "OM NAMA SHIVA" eleven times, place the Rudraksha rosary in the smoke of dhoop and flowers, Now the Rudraksha rosary is ready to wear.

How to wear Rudraksha

Take a bath on Monday morning, wear clean clothes and sit on asana and keep Puja Samagri and Ganges water (Ganga Jal). Keep the Rudraksha on a wooden. Apply tilak on the forehead (Cover the head with a towel, etc.) with Chandan, Sindoor, and Bhasam. Begen the Pooja with three Achmans reciting each time the following mantras:

Om Keshvaye Namah Swaha

 Om Madhvaye Namah Swaha

 Om Narayanaye Namah Swaha

Following completing Pranayam and giving honors to Lord Shiva. Ganesha, Vishnu, and to one's Guru. Do the Sankalpa or say in one's mind that purpose for which the Rudraksha is being worn with complete faith.

After Sankalpa, offer Pooja of various lords and wash Rudraksha in Panch Amrit and with Ganges water. Fix a black thread in the Rudraksha and wear it on the arm or around the neck.

This method is for all types of Rudraksha, whereas mantras for each faced Rudraksha are varying.

Benefits of Rudraksha

The Rudraksha delivers excellent luck. Which is the most favorable for money, prosperity, wealth, children, family, and comforts. Rudraksha helps to heal diseases. Those having blood pressure should wear it on the right arm. Lethal diseases, epilepsy, and fainting fits are curd by rubbing it in honey. In various kinds of Ayurvedic medicines, Rudraksha is used.
